Infinity Ward Fixes Multiple Glitches On PC, Consoles Soon

I have to applaud Infinity Ward for really working hard on all of these glitches in Modern Warfare 2. I really can’t say anything bad about them. It has to be hard working non-stop to try and stay one step ahead of the hackers. With the latest update, IW fixes “The Flash” glitch (Care Package glitch) so no more zooming around the map. Things that were also fixed are:
Sentry Guns: Improved placement detection, preventing cases of Sentry Guns inside geometry
Model 1887: Bling using Akimbo and FMJ combination now has same range and damage as non-Bling Model 1887s
Improved player collision removing cases of getting into geometry and ‘elevators’
Mouse latency tweaks for more mouse movement consistency
Fixes to prevent various texture and XP hacks
Yes, some of these fixes are PC related. No word as to when the console version of the patch will be released but I am sure that it will be very soon. Let’s hope that the hacks calm down so people can actually enjoy the game and IW can work on fixing the lag in multiplayer.
Maybe when I get my 2nd 360 back *cries*, all the glitches will have been fixed and MW2 will be perfect…..Hahahhahahhahaha….yeah right!
Crap! Just as I’m half a level away from getting an 1887 to get some payback on all the jerks who’ve been using them against me.
The best payback you can do is to camp those tards that use the 1887’s. I pissed off quite a few people doing that and got an ear full from them

What sucks is that as soon as they get the patch released for the consoles, there will be more hacks to be had. IW has lost the war on hackers for their game. At least they are not letting up the fight. Maybe one day the hackers will get tired of finding shit in MW2 and give up
OMG, That is an awesome screen shot! Where did you get it? The moron (imaginary first person) has his Iron Sights installed pointing backwards.
The Front Sight is a Front Sight, but it’s installed backwards.. the same goes for the rear sight.
Details like that has been driving me insane on MW2.
