BlazBlue: Continuum Shift II for PSP and 3DS Announced

Aksys Games has announced that an enhanced port of a fighting game that has insane combos that  I will never do in my lifetime, BlazBlue: Continuum Shift II will be coming to the PSP and the 3DS. Fans will be happy that everything they loved in BlazBlue: Continuum Shift will be in this “sequel” as well as all new Story Mode and Arcade Mode segments, character balance issues fixed in the Arcade versions and system version 1.03 and all the DLC characters Makoto, Valkenhayn, and Platinum.

You also get Ad-hoc multiplayer allowing up to four players to participate in a single session. While you are fighting with an opponent, the other players can watch you get your ass handed to you before their turn comes up, sort of how Super Street Fighter IV and Mortal Kombat does it now. The only thing that the 3DS gets as far as features is that everything but the cutscenes in 3D as well as local multiplayer only. Not sure why Aksys won’t put online play in the 3DS version since we have already seen it work for the 3DS version of SSFIV.

Both the PSP and 3DS versions of BlazBlue: Continuum Shift II will be released May 31st.
