Atari just put up a new trailer for their upcoming Dungeons & Dragons: Daggerdale game. If you don’t know anything about this title, join the club. D & D: Daggerdale flew under my radar and I had to go to Atari’s website to see what it is all about.
Travel to the Forgotten Realms, where the adventure begins in the Dalelands, nestled in the remote Desertsmouth Mountains. From the sulfuric catacombs of the mines of Tethyamar, to the dizzying heights of the Tower of the Void, Dungeons & Dragons Daggerdale combines the depth of Dungeons & Dragons 4th Edition with intuitive, action packed combat that will satisfy the most seasoned of adventurers.
So basically it is your typical action rpg that is set in the D & D universe using the 4th Edition rules. No date has been released for D & D: Daggerdale but from the trailer it says “Spring 2011″. I can see this being a fun little XBLA or PSN game for $10.
