XSEED Conjures Up The Past With Wizardry Revival

The past couple of weeks, we have seen remakes either announce or released. Yars Revenge, Centipede and Warlords to name a few. XSEED joins the ranks with Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls. Wizardry has a rich history in gaming and you see a lot of game series such as Final Fantasy, Might and Magic and Dragon Quest emulate what Wizardry established in 1981.

Wizardry: Labyrinth of Lost Souls will let the players choose from a selection of five unique races. Humans, Dwarves, Elves, Gnomes the oddly named Porklu. Depending on what race you pick, unique attributes that reflect specific talents and skills will be given and play a role in determining the outcome of your chances for survival. Wizardry will give players complete control over their characters’ development, allowing them to custom-tailor their preferred play style to each race. On top of this, the game’s eight available classes allow for even further levels of character customization. There is even specific storylines for each race to make playing the game multiple times over worth it to see everything and with a six-member party in tow, you won’t have to worry about battling over 120 different monsters all on your own.

No release date was given yet by XSEED but we can see it available exclusively for download on the Playstation Network sometime this spring. While you wait, check out some artwork of the races as well as the character creator in game.
