Check out the box art for Dead Rising 2: Off the Record below, which Capcom revealed earlier today. If it isn’t enough of a testament to how insane Frank West seems to be in this re-imagining of Dead Rising 2, then the above screenshot should suffice.
Dead Rising 2: Off the Record is a retelling of the events which transpired in Dead Rising 2, now with Frank West as the game’s protagonist rather than Chuck Greene. There’s also lots of new content planned, such as vehicles, weapons, missions, and whatever else they toss in there. Some technical enhancements will also be included, such as improved loading times and net-code. There’s also an altered storyline, tailored for Frank West’s insane journey through a zombified Fortune City, with the return of the photography mechanic from the original Dead Rising, in which the player can snap photos of zombies in order to gather up bucket-loads of PP (tee-hee-hee).
It’s also going to hit shelves at a meager $39.99. So, if you didn’t play Dead Rising 2 the first time it came around, then you may wanna grab this one when it hits North America on October 11th for the 360, PS3 and PC.
