I’m still soaking up the tears from the announcement that Mega Man Legends 3 was cancelled, last week. In response to the game’s cancellation, a group calling themselves “100,000 Strong for Bringing Back MML3” has pledged to show Capcom just how much demand there exists for the game, and to prove that releasing it would be worth their while.
As of this post, they’re at about 28,600 likes on Facebook, and have around 750 followers on twitter, so they’ve been making some good headway in the week since they’ve launched their campaign. There’s no question that I threw in my own support for this, and I hope some of you readers do the same. You know, in case you genuinely were excited for the game.
If this actually works (not that fan petitions have budged publishers all that much in the past), and we see Mega Man Legends 3 released, then I honestly hope that it sells well, as I doubt anything like this will work again if it doesn’t. I’ll keep my fingers crossed.
