Publisher THQ announced just recently that a brand spankin’ new Voltron game, Voltron: Defenders of the Universe, will be hitting XBLA and PSN sometime in the future. Yep, that’s right. Time to grab hold of my childhood and tear it robot lion limb from robot lion limb. And my poor heart is still getting over Capcom’s cancellation of Mega Man Legends 3.
No, but seriously, this may not be all bad. Although the trailer IGN’s got seems rather unexciting, this is still probably in a very early form. One of the most promising aspects of the game is the five player co-op, which may create for some neato situations in which you all have to form up for some giant monster ass-handing. I’ll try to remain optimistic! THQ says it’ll only set you back ten bucks, after all.
