During the closing out of their keynote at Gamescom earlier today, Sony announced that they’re dropping the PS3 price by around $50 greenbacks, in effect right as you’re reading this particular word. Right this minute, PS3′s around the world are feeling like cheap hussies, and are willing to submit to degrading themselves by going home with you for $249 USD.
As you can see in the image above, the price is being dropped within other regions, as well, and is hitting €249.99 over in Europe, while it fell to ¥24,980 in Japan. So, go pick one up and get some Uncharted on or something. Whatever it is you’ve been missing. Heavenly Sword? I don’t know.
