According to Wired, anyways, and an image leaked to them which details the Hardened Edition for Modern Warfare 3. Looks pretty legit, to be honest. In case you hate clicking on things, here’s a breakdown of what’s listed to come with this special edition of the highly-anticipated FPS:
- Unique disk art for the included copy of Modern Warfare 3
- One year of membership for Call of Duty: Elite
- Special Founder’s Status, which includes an exclusive in-game emblem, playercard, weapon camouflage, a clan XP boost, and “more!”
- A Premium Steelbook case
- PS3 Only: Animated timeline theme for PSN
- Xbox 360 Only: Exclusive Special Ops Juggernaut Avatar outift.
- 100+ page Field Journal, with SKETCHES, and DIAGRAMS and shit. Man, I don’t even know what else!
So, that’s all we know for now. There isn’t a price confirmed, as of yet, although I’d expect anywhere from $80-$100 bucks, as the Hardened Editions have typically released for about $80. I’m willing to be that there will be some sort of announcement at this weekend’s Call of Duty expo, Call of Duty XP, so at least hold on ’till then.
Modern Warfare 3 releases on Nov. 8 for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
