Portal 2 DLC Still “Technically” out This Summer

Valve still plans to release the first, free DLC pack for Portal 2 this Summer says Valve’s Director of Marketing, Doug Lombardi to Kotaku. That date? About mid-September, which, given that Fall begins on September 23rd in the Northern Hemisphere, would still be during Summer. You tricky, lovable fiends, you!

I honestly can’t be too upset with the use of technical wording to maintain a Summer release for the new content, as the DLC pack is absolutely free-of-charge on all platforms. According to Valve, the DLC itself contains new test chambers, a challenge mode for both singleplayer and co-op modes, leaderboards, and some as yet unnamed yummies to be tossed in there. You know, in case you weren’t satisfied with your free stuff. So, look forward to spending no-dollars for a grand excuse to load Portal 2 up again in about a month.
