Anyways, this new Gamescom trailer for Street Fighter X Tekken reveals a few new characters. You’ve got Ibuki from the Street Fighter franchise, representin’ girl ninjas and all that. There’s also Hugo, from Final Fight, who is an enormous big bulk of dumb, and Poison is his manager or something I don’t even know.
Raven, from the Tekken series, is also revealed in the video, doing a bunch of acrobatics while managing to keep his sunglasses on.
The video also gives a rather in-depth look at some various game mechanics in its first half, such as a few of the attacks you’ll be able to utilize your partner for in Street Fighter X Tekken. Lots of switching, switch-canceling, launching, and definitely hadokens. Hadokens out the goddamn wazoo.
Street Fighter X Tekken is going to let you be a bear and fart directly on faces when it hits sometime early next year for the PS3, Xbox 360 and the PS Vita.
