I have mixed feelings about Alan Wake: American Nightmare. On one hand, I want to play more Alan Wake. Loved the survival horror atmosphere Alan Wake had and was enjoyably scared throughout it. I am not seeing that same setting with this extended trailer. Looks like Remedy Games is going more of a fast action based third-person shooter style now. The thing that made me love Alan Wake looks sucked out of American Nightmare.
I hope when more of this game is revealed, I will get to see more survival horror more than fast, wave based shooting. Alan Wake: American Nightmare will hit XBLA sometime early 2012.
